Adopt a Senior Facebook Group

Below is information about the Adopt a Senior group on Facebook. If you are interested, create a post with senior pictures, baby pictures, etc. and a short bio of yourself. If you have not been adopted, write "Not Adopted" at the top of your post. Once you are adopted, change your post to state "Adopted" at the top. This seems like a really cool idea! Let me know if you have any questions!

Group Name: Adopt a Senior (Georgetown) Scott County Class of 2020

Description from the Group: As a way to help celebrate the Senior Class of 2020, we have created this group for the community to Adopt a Senior and bless them with love and kindness! This is a difficult time for everyone, especially our seniors. They will be missing out on prom, senior trips, and recently learned they will not be able to walk the line at graduation.

Taking from the group, Bless-a-Senior 2020 the following is posted:

Graduates and Parents - Please limit to one post per Senior. At the start of your post, put "Not Adopted" followed by a bio and pictures of your senior. We want to get to know each and every one of them! Their interests, their goals, which school they are graduating from, their future plans, everything! Be as detailed as you feel comfortable with.

To the amazing people who are adopting a Senior - Search through the posts for a student you would like to bless with kindness! We encourage you to match with a graduate (or graduates!) that you would have not gotten for otherwise. Maybe a student you have never met! Once you have adopted a graduate, they will change their bio to "Adopted" so everyone knows they are adopted out. Please, Graduates/Parents, leave the rest of your bios up, we want to learn about you!

A few rules for everyone:
*This group is meant to spread positivity, any negativity, fighting, etc. will NOT be tolerated.
*We understand these are trying times for everyone so please be aware everyone should only purchase/bless each child within their means. Remember, it is the thought that counts!
*Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! the Senior Class of 2020 needs to have something wonderful to look back on during a time when COVID19 has taken so much.
